Intro:
if you are a friend or if you think that I am a friend for you, do pass
away this road, and don't read any longer what is not concerning you.
One time for ever, here is an answer to all those... "friends" telling
that I'm a nerd destroying the work made by others without their
authorization.
Here is an example:
Answer:
It was just ONE example, and my computer is full of such emails.
Paul Corfiatis, Ian Wilson, Paul Fleshute, Karoly (Charles) Horvath,
Team Kill (Andrew Hunt), Martin Hornak, etc etc etc... All received an
email from me BEFORE a release of my mods, and all gave me their
approval.
This to close the bad mouths with a black tongue...
More than that, my computer is full of letters thanking me for my mods, emails sent by their respective authors.
Sometimes, when it was impossible to have an answer from an author, I released my mods without "official" authorization, but I NEVER released an unauthorized mod (do ask to CyB, the author of The Mass Mouth Series. My mods of both of his megawads are still sleeping in my computer).
This to close one more time and definitely the bad mouths with a black tongue...
I am NOT excited, nor in anger.
I read merely some comments here and there (even from... Ok, I'll
keep his name secret), telling that EVERYBODY knows that I'm NOT
respectable (this being told with half words, but it was the obvious
idea hidden behind those back words).
I truly think to be respectable, and the authors of my mods (apart
a very few exceptions, not having answered me and being excited like
fleas when they saw that I bypassed their lack of answer, but I'll keep
their name for me) are pleased with my work, and players too.
More than 3 millions of visited pages on my site DLW... (the counter is regularly reseted thanks to a bug, but I don't care)
My new site GZW is also well visited, thus I didn't make real pub about it...
And my address book, fulfilled with names of authors having
received at least one email from me or having send me an answer, or a
free message... I didn't rip it !! I won it with my work.
The last name is not the worst: I received also some emails from
John Romero (but not only from him), telling that he was pleased with
what I was doing (for Doom Legacy, at that time)...
And Tim Willits... and...
Ok, I think that I will NEVER read again black messages, now that you are informed.
Of course, the world being filled with nerds, I know that I'll read from time to time, here and there, such messages...
Do have a nice day, gentlemen.
Jean
P.S. : please, don't ask me: "But why are you jumping on your
horse?!?" You should understand that, if I'm writing such a message,
it's because I have my reasons... And I'm NOT at all jumping on any
horse. I simply close some mouths before having to close them by
another way.
Strangely, very well known authors are trusting me and my work,
and respecting me. But I read black comments about me and my works !!!

I liked your review on the dark7 wads. I'm in the process of making a
'Special Edition' version shortly and was wondering if you happen upon
any bugs or feature suggestions that i can take with me on this
rerelease?
Thanks!
