My Review:

Technical: I was highly pleased by the incredibly creative usage of textures on this map, especially the wall that was absolutely coated in dead bodies right at the end. The texture alignment was pretty much perfect in every aspect, which made it look all the more professional. The music was pretty catchy, but got a bit annoying when you had been playing for a while. In some places, the switches on walls were a bit too high to see when approached , but this may have just been to add to the difficulty…

Gameplay: This map entertained me for a while, but it was too easy. There were tons of health packs, and I never ran out of ammo (I’m a really bad shot too!). There weren’t enough challenging enemies, it was mostly imps, zombies and chaingunners. However, they did get quite hard when you were faced with a whole room full of them at the end, but if you were well stocked on rockets that wasn’t a problem either. I only died once, this was at a point where there was a really open space, and a revenant in the middle. Those homing rockets are a pain to avoid when there aren’t any walls for them to crash into! I was glad to see all the weapons bar the bfg, even the chainsaw (which I didn’t really have any use for). Another point, if you hate maps where you get lost in giant mazes, this is one to play. Sure, there is a moderate amount of navigation, but heck, even my 9 year old bro could solve this map! My favourite features were the crusher, an old classic, and the caged mancubuses. The cages were actually really large and obscured your view of them, making it harder to aim. Overall, if you want a quick, easy, stress free map, get this one now.
