My Review:
Overview:
A level that starts you out in a castle. A level design that seems to be used quite a bit, there’s a good balance in the wad. The doors are like secret doors that get kind of annoying though. This is one of the first doom2 wads and you would think it would be boring but it's not. And, prepare to die a few times - it is a kind of long Map.
Design:
Its good but not great. The rooms seemed a demon infested castle empty and the atmosphere seemed good. There are no HOMS in the map. All the enemies are placed in places that seemed perfect for the design. You will get lost here trust me, you will.
Difficulty: medium to hard. There are enemies in virtually every corner and they don't stop coming at you but some parts give you a little break from the action so you can catch a breather before the next onslaught.
Gameplay: This is a pretty fun map - a good amount of ammo and
health is spread about and you won't hardly get bored. Only in a
couple spots will you get a break. The weapons were balanced - that
made this have really great gameplay.
