In addition to keeping an up-to-date copy of levels from the public archives for such games as Doom, Doom2, Heretic, Hexen, Hexen 2, and Strife. I also peruse the internet frequently to update the growing list of maps and mods (both singleplayer and deathmatch) for such games as Quake, Quake2, Quake 4, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Doom3 and Doom3, Resurrection of Evil and much more. There are almost 30 gigabytes of files here - a personal collection I dare any website to match! id Software IS the standard bearer for PC games as well as an up and comer in the console market and this site is dedicated to that austere gaming company, it's communities, the people who play it's games and the mappers who work tirelessly to provide all of us with an unending stream of new maps, wads, mods and total conversions for the id Software line of games. This is the reason why Doom, even at the elderly age of 13 is still going strong and will continue to grow and build a fanbase well into the next generation. No matter which first person shooter you prefer, you WILL find user created maps for here, at Doom Wad Station.
