In spite of a few needed improvements, this one is a good map to play with. Check it out!

This map is a breeze on any setting. Any Doomer with crucial skillz will not be too challenged on this one. There are a few spots like the radioactive sludge room that will task you slightly. But, I didn’t crack a bead of sweat playing this one.

This is a well thought out level so playing it over is feasible. Alastair placed plenty of little secret alcoves and hallways for the nosy gamer so it’s definitely worth another play-thru if you didn’t catch all of the secrets the first time. The action left more to be desired tho. A few more well-placed baddies a some spots would have done the trick.

Legacy is an engine that I really like because of the way it displays the textures and lighting and how it makes a 3d bridge or ledge with little to no brainwork. This is a beautiful level with nice architecture and a few new textures here and there. There were, unfortunately, a few door textures that were pegged so they moved as the door/crusher moved. And there were a few baddies who were stuck in their hid-a-ways and could not move. The scripting done was evident and cool, tho, so that’s a big plus. The music was mood setting as well. So the map loses some points and earns them back.
